Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has partnered up with many government departments related to education, public sector and commercial sector within Ireland to improve energy use practices and to reduce operating costs along with helping to protect the environment for future generations.

There is a statutory requirement for public sector organisations to reduce energy consumption by 33% by 2020. Public bodies, including schools, will also be obliged to monitor and report energy use to SEAI from 2011.

EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) is a procurement tool in the US to help institutional purchasers evaluate, compare and select desktop computers and monitors based on their environmental attributes. The complete set of performance criteria includes 51 detailed items. EPEAT evaluates electronic products according to three tiers of environmental performance - Bronze, Silver and Gold. We received the Silver Mark for all our monitor models.
