PC Peripherals have been working for the past 6 months to ensure our business complies with GDPR. We are fully registered with Data Protection as Data users and Data controllers. We have carried out a Data Protection Audit, we have identified what personal data we collect and where it is stored, we have put policy in place to govern how this data is used and accessed we have established security controls to prevent, detect and respond to vulnerabilities and data breaches, we have implemented a reporting facility to manage data requests and a notification policy for any data breaches. PC Peripherals have also created a Business Privacy Statement. These steps will help us uphold our legal responsibility in relation to the personal data we gather and retain on behalf of our clients. We will circulate further updates, as/if they arise over the coming weeks before the GDPR comes into effect.
